Chicken Vindaloo with
50g Rice


100g Chicken
40g Potato
1 Garlic clove
Pinch Fenugreek seeds
2 Red chilies
1/2 Tbsp. Vinegar
2 whole Peppercorns
1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
Pinch Mustard seeds
1 Whole garam masala (each)
2 grams Tamarind
1/4 Onion (chopped)
Salt – to taste.
1/4 cup Tomato puree
1/2 teaspoon Jaggery
pinch Turmeric powder
pinch Coriander seeds


Make a paste with the garlic cloves, fenugreek seeds, red chilies (soaked in vinegar), vinegar, peppercorns, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, mustard seeds, whole garam masala and add a little bit of tamarind, turmeric powder, onions.
Simmer chicken and potato pieces in water for 10 minutes in a medium flame.
Then, add prepared masala mix well and again put the lid on and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Then, add tomato puree and salt cook this for a few minutes, then add jaggery, mix well and put the lid on and let it cook for 5 minutes.
